Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet and cut it into strips.
- In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush each pastry strip with melted butter and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over them.
- Twist each strip and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the twists for a shiny finish.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with coffee, tea, or milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1 day at room temperature or up to 3 days in the fridge. Reheat to restore crispness.
