Ingredients
  

For the Tortellini Poppers
  • 20 oz Cheese tortellini, fresh or refrigerated Use fresh or refrigerated tortellini for best texture.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing tortellini.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 Fresh Parsley For garnish.
  • 1 Grated Parmesan cheese For garnish.
For Dipping Sauces
  • Marinara sauce Optional dipping sauce.
  • Ranch dressing or pesto Optional dipping sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cooked tortellini to the bowl and toss with olive oil until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned tortellini, sautéing until golden and crispy.
  2. Serve warm with marinara sauce and ranch dressing or pesto for dipping.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Cool the poppers to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or oven to keep them crispy. Do not crowd the pan; cook in batches for even crisping.
