Preparation
- Wash and hull the strawberries.
- Place them in a jar.
- Cover the strawberries with sugar.
- Seal the jar and let it sit in the refrigerator for a couple of days to allow the strawberries to macerate in the sugar.
Notes
Do not pack the jar too tight; leave a little space. Taste after one day and then every day until you like the flavor. Store in the refrigerator for about 1 week using a clean spoon each time to keep them fresh.
