Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For coating the chicken
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese Adds extra flavor
For the Salad
  • 1 cup lettuce Fresh and crisp
  • 1/2 pieces cucumber, sliced
  • to taste pieces Cherry tomatoes Halved if desired
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For drizzling
  • to taste tbsp Lemon juice For dressing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rub the chicken drumsticks with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and the grated cheese.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the chicken on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake until golden and crispy for around 35-40 minutes.
  3. Flip the chicken halfway through baking for an even golden crust.
Salad Preparation
  1. In a bowl, toss together the lettuce, cucumber slices, and cherry tomatoes.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice for a simple dressing.
Serving
  1. Plate your crispy chicken alongside the fresh salad.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for a few minutes at the end of baking. Add your favorite veggies to the salad for variation.
