Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl until well mixed. Press into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
- Before serving, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
For best texture, chill for at least 4 hours before serving. You can use a hot, clean knife to slice for neat pieces. Optionally, add a sprinkle of sea salt or whipped cream on top.
