  • 4 pieces chicken drumsticks Bone-in, skin-on preferred.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For coating the chicken.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the chicken.
  • 1 tsp paprika For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (thyme/oregano) For added flavor.
  • to taste Salt & black pepper Season to your liking.
For the fries and sauces
  • 3 cups frozen or fresh fries Use your preferred type.
  • 1/2 cup ketchup or chili sauce For dipping.
  • 1/2 cup creamy sauce (mayo/garlic dip) For dipping.
For the salad
  • 1 cup mixed salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion) Freshly tossed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the drumsticks by coating the chicken with olive oil, garlic, paprika, herbs, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Roast the chicken in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. Bake or fry the fries until golden and crunchy.
Salad preparation
  1. Prepare the salad by tossing the salad ingredients.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the meal by packing the chicken, fries, salad, and sauces together.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken drumsticks for a few hours or overnight. You can use any type of fries you like, whether frozen or homemade. If you want added spice, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper.
