Ingredients

For the Steak
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes Look for sirloin with good marbling for extra flavor and tenderness.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Opt for fresh garlic over pre-minced for a more robust taste.
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
For the Loaded Fries
  • 1 lb frozen crinkle-cut fries Prepare according to package instructions.
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the fries' package instructions, usually around 425°F.
  2. Spread the frozen crinkle-cut fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, approximately 20-25 minutes.
  3. While the fries are baking, season sirloin steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the seasoned steak cubes and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Reduce the heat and add minced garlic and butter. Toss until the steak is fully coated, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Transfer crispy fries to a baking dish and sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic powder evenly over the fries.
  4. Bake loaded fries until cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serve garlic butter steak bites beside cheesy fries, garnished with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper.

Notes

This dish can be stored in the fridge for about three days in an airtight container. For longer storage, freeze the steak bites and fries separately for up to two months. To reheat, bake at 350°F until heated through.
