  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs Such as parsley or thyme.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup diced onions or shallots For added depth.
  • 1 cup mushrooms Like cremini or shiitake.
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon To complement the cranberry sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the turkey breast and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and herbs like thyme or rosemary to enhance the flavor.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and put it in the oven. Roast the turkey until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Making the Cranberry Sauce
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/4 cup of orange juice.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens.
Baking Instructions
  1. In a large baking dish, arrange a layer of cooked pasta or rice, followed by a layer of the cooked turkey, and then a layer of the cranberry sauce. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  2. Finish with a layer of cranberry sauce on top, cover with aluminum foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.

Notes

For the best flavor, use homemade cranberry sauce. Consider adding optional ingredients for extra flavor. Ensure to balance flavors and textures in your dish.
