Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles.
- Place a few chocolate chips at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough starting from the wide end, rolling toward the point, then place them on a baking sheet.
- If desired, brush the tops with an egg wash for a golden color.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the top of each crescent.
Baking
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Store cooled crescents in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Freeze unbaked crescents on a tray for up to 1 month; bake from frozen. For reheating, use a 325°F (160°C) oven until warm and crisp.
