Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups Chicken, Cooked and Shredded Use rotisserie for a shortcut.
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Parsley, Dried
  • 1.5 tsp Powdered garlic
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 pkg Crescent roll dough Use fresh for the best rise.
  • 1 tsp Salt
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs Choose plain or lightly salted.
  • 6 tbsp Butter Melted, for brushing.
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Use full-fat for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream For a richer sauce.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, Grated Grate fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Whole milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the rack in the middle.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, onion powder, dried parsley, powdered garlic, egg, flour, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners over the filling and seal.
  4. Place the chicken pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, melt the cream cheese and stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and whole milk until smooth.
  2. Use low heat and stir constantly to prevent sticking.
Serving
  1. Serve the warm chicken pillows drizzled with the creamy Parmesan sauce.

Notes

Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Can be made ahead and reheated without losing flavor. Store sauce separately to avoid sogginess.
