  • 3 cups popcorn (popped, cooled) Use plain popped popcorn. Avoid stale microwave popcorn.
  • 1 cup pretzels (mini twists or rods) Choose firm, crunchy pretzels.
  • 1 cup chocolate eggs (candied eggs or Cadbury-style) Pick sturdy candy-coated chocolates.
  • 1 cup candy corn Use fresh, not hard or stale.
  • 1/2 cup M&M's Choose colorful varieties.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Use a good-quality white chocolate.
  • to taste optional Sprinkles Add for color, only when chocolate is slightly tacky.

Method
 

Prepare the Popcorn
  1. Prepare the popcorn according to package instructions and let it cool.
Mix the Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, combine the popcorn, pretzels, chocolate eggs, candy corn, M&M's, and white chocolate chips.
Melt the White Chocolate
  1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. Drizzle over the snack mix and stir to combine.
Add Sprinkles
  1. If desired, add sprinkles for extra color.
Set the Mix
  1. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to let the chocolate set.
Serve
  1. Once the chocolate is set, break into pieces and serve in bowls or package as gifts.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 2 months. Refresh crunch in the oven if needed.
