Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Baking
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for a simple finish. These brownies work well with coffee or milk. Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. For longer storage, freeze the cooled squares in a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
