Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel, core, and chop your apples into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, diced apples, cinnamon, and other dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs (or applesauce) and milk until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
Baking
- Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden and the oatmeal is set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For gluten-free options, use certified gluten-free oats. Customize with nuts, dried fruits, or a mix of sweet and tart apples to enhance flavor and nutrition.
