  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Consider using panko for extra crunch.
  • 1 each egg Beaten until frothy.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha Optional for added heat.
For Serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. Cut the salmon fillets into uniform bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg until frothy.
Coating
  1. Dip each salmon piece into the egg, letting any excess drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha if using.
Serving
  1. Plate the salmon bites with lime wedges on the side and serve.

Notes

For more flavor, add fresh herbs to the breadcrumb mix. To reheat, place in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
