- 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 4 cups Pretzel
- 1 cup Butter, unsalted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches a boil, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, let it simmer for 3-4 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Place pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the caramel mixture over the pretzels, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Let it sit for a few minutes until the chocolate chips are melted, then spread the chocolate evenly over the caramel pretzels.
- Allow to cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate but bring to room temperature before serving.
