- 4 large sweet onions, sliced into thick rings

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, dotting
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

- 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the sweet onions into thick rings.
- In a baking dish, layer the onion slices and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Dot the onions with butter.
- Top the onions with mozzarella, Parmesan, and provolone cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
