Tennessee Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice the sweet onions into thick rings.
  3. In a baking dish, layer the onion slices and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Dot the onions with butter.
  5. Top the onions with mozzarella, Parmesan, and provolone cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.
  7. Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
