Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Balls

Delicious and healthy snack combining strawberries and cheesecake flavors with added protein, perfect for post-workout or as a sweet treat.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 balls 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 to 3 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt or melted chocolate (optional coating)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, vanilla protein powder, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, honey (or maple syrup), almond milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix cream cheese (or Greek yogurt), honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fill each ball with a small amount of the cheesecake filling.
  5. If desired, coat the balls in vanilla yogurt or melted chocolate.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Finely crush freeze-dried strawberries for better distribution. If the mixture is too dry, add more almond milk. For variations, consider adding mini chocolate chips or nuts.
