- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4–5 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Pink food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to package instructions until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
- Add powdered sugar and cream cheese to the cake crumbles; mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- If using, mix in pink food coloring into the melted chocolate.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted chocolate to coat and return to the baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
- Allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
