Spinach and Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients: ground chicken, chopped spinach, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  5. Serve the cooked patties on burger buns with optional toppings.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding chopped jalapeños or hot sauce. You can also grill the patties for a smoky flavor.
