Seafood Stuffed Shells

Delicious jumbo pasta shells filled with a savory crab and cheese mixture, baked in marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine the lump crab meat, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  4. Carefully stuff each pasta shell with the seafood mixture.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover them with the rest of the marinara sauce.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melting and bubbly.
  10. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a green salad and crusty bread. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
