- 1 pound sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup bread (cubed, optional)
- 1 cup vegetables (chopped, optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, optional bread or vegetables, and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a different base, swap the bread for croissants. Let it rest after baking for best results.
