- 1 can Pumpkin puree
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 tsp Cloves, ground
- 1 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Pecan, chopped
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups Water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, egg, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and then carefully pour it over the batter in the baking dish.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the top is set and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
