- 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 Eggs, large
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup Mustard-cheddar sauce
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups Pretzels, crushed
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, Dijon mustard, and milk.
- Crush the pretzels into small pieces and place them in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it into the egg mixture, then coat it with the crushed pretzels.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the mustard-cheddar sauce until warm.
- Serve the chicken hot, drizzled with the sauce and topped with cheddar cheese.
Notes
For extra crunch, press the pretzel coating on firmly before baking. Serve with a green salad or roasted vegetables.
