Pear Brie Cranberry Crostini

Delightful appetizer combining sweet and savory flavors with pear, creamy Brie, and tangy cranberry sauce on toasted baguette.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe Pear
  • 1 tsp fresh Thyme leaves
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup toasted Walnuts
  • 1 fresh Baguette
  • 200 g Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce or compote

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Brush each slice with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. While the crostini are toasting, slice the pear and Brie cheese.
  6. Once the crostini are done, spread a layer of cranberry sauce on each slice.
  7. Top with a slice of Brie, a few pieces of pear, and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
  8. Drizzle thyme-infused honey over each crostini.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve warm for best flavor. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days; reheat in the oven to regain crispness.
