Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Layer bread cubes in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all is coated.
- Add the cooked sausage and any additional cheese on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) the next morning.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, checking for doneness with a fork or knife.
