- 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 12 oz White or dark chocolate
- Green food coloring
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Crush the Mint Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and cream cheese until well blended.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the white or dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and coat evenly.
- Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet.
- Before the chocolate sets, add green food coloring and sprinkles for decoration.
- Allow the truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use cream cheese at room temperature to make mixing easier. You can also add nuts or crispy rice cereal for crunch.
