- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and mushrooms; sauté until mushrooms are tender.
- Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken and mushroom mixture to a baking dish.
- Pour heavy cream over the top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Pat chicken dry for better browning. Use full-fat cream for best texture.
