Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce

A delightful dish combining perfectly cooked ribeye steak with a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ribeye steaks
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary or thyme, fresh
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika, smoked
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and fresh herbs. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  8. Serve the steaks topped with the creamy garlic sauce.

Notes

Best served hot with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
