Ingredients

- 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices prosciutto
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 pepper
- 1 salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup white wine
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Layer the prosciutto and sage leaves on top of each chicken breast.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and add white wine and chicken broth to the skillet to deglaze.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot, drizzled with the sauce.
Notes
Pound the chicken slightly for even cooking. Use good prosciutto for the best flavor.
