Hot Fudge Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box Ultimate Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1 box Triple Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 jar Hot Fudge Topping
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, mixing in the eggs, water, and vegetable oil, then spread evenly in the pan.
  3. In another bowl, prepare the cake mix as per package instructions and pour it over the brownie layer in the pan.
  4. Spoon the hot fudge topping generously over the cake batter.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, checking for a toothpick to come out mostly clean.
  6. Let it cool slightly, then serve warm, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Serve warm and store leftovers in an airtight container. Reheat slices in the microwave to restore gooeyness.
