Delightful Gingerbread Truffles bring the warm flavors of gingerbread into bite-sized treats, perfect for holiday sharing.

  • Total Time: 30
  • Yield: 24 truffles 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup melted chocolate
  • Festive sugar or spice for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed gingerbread cookies with cream cheese and the spices until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Chill the truffles in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. Once chilled, dip each truffle in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Place the chocolate-coated truffles back on the baking sheet and sprinkle with festive sugar or additional spice.
  6. Let them set until the chocolate hardens.
  7. Store in the fridge until ready to serve or gift.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, add extra spices. Ensure cream cheese is softened for smoother consistency. Use white chocolate for a different twist.
