- 1 small head Cauliflower
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 8 oz Mushrooms
- 1 Fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into small florets.
- Clean and slice the mushrooms.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add cauliflower florets and mushrooms to the skillet.
- Season with Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sauté until the cauliflower is tender and the mushrooms are cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
For a vegan version, skip the butter and Parmesan cheese and use nutritional yeast. This dish is gluten-free and can be made spicier by adding smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.
