Easy Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake

A fun and tasty way to enjoy sushi flavors without the fuss of rolling. Fresh salmon, creamy mayonnaise, and Sriracha all baked over fluffy sushi rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon, fresh skinless and diced fillet
  • 1/2 cup Green onions, chopped
  • 1 sheet Nori, cut into small strips
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 2 cups Sushi rice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
  • tobiko (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine diced salmon, mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, green onions, sesame oil, salt, and sugar.
  4. Spread the sushi rice evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice.
  6. Cut the nori sheet into small strips and sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with tobiko if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use high-quality fresh salmon for the best taste. Adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your spice preference.
