Easy Irish Cream Oreo Truffles

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil or shortening
  • 2 drops Gel food coloring, green
  • 1 cup Green, white, and orange sprinkles
  • 12 oz Candy melts or white chocolate melting wafers, green
  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Baileys Irish cream liqueur

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs remain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and Baileys Irish cream until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt the green candy melts or white chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave until smooth.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Sprinkle the colorful sprinkles on top before the chocolate hardens.
  7. Let the truffles set on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing and experiment with different toppings for variation.
