Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Cake

A delicious blend of rich chocolate and nutty pistachios, perfect for special occasions or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Dark chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp Neutral oil
  • 3/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Kataifi pastry
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup Pistachio butter
  • 1 cup Whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and honey until light and fluffy.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  5. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  6. Add the melted dark chocolate, vanilla extract, neutral oil, and olive oil. Mix until smooth.
  7. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold it into the batter.
  9. Layer the kataifi pastry in the greased cake pan, pressing slightly. Pour the batter over it evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool before spreading pistachio butter over the top.
  12. Serve and enjoy your Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Cake!

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top for extra flavor.
