- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups Dark chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup White chocolate chips
- 2 tsp Neutral oil
- 3/4 cup Olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups Kataifi pastry
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup Heavy cream
- 3/4 cup Pistachio butter
- 1 cup Whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and honey until light and fluffy.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
- Add the melted dark chocolate, vanilla extract, neutral oil, and olive oil. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold it into the batter.
- Layer the kataifi pastry in the greased cake pan, pressing slightly. Pour the batter over it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before spreading pistachio butter over the top.
- Serve and enjoy your Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Cake!
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top for extra flavor.
