Ingredients
Scale
- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch and flour. Dip chicken pieces into the beaten egg, then coat with the cornstarch mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and sriracha.
- In the pan, toss the crispy chicken with the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve over cooked rice.
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot before frying for crispiness. Adjust sriracha for spice preference and consider adding vegetables for extra crunch.
