- 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 tsp Basil, dried
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried
- 2 Eggs, large
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Olive oil spray
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of each chicken breast.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the outside is crispy and golden brown.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end, watching closely. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
