- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 cups dried bread cubes
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup turkey or chicken broth (as needed)
- 1 egg, beaten (optional, for binding)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine turkey, bread cubes, cranberries, celery, onion, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add broth until mixture holds together. Add egg if using for binding.
- Form mixture into golf-ball-sized rounds and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Serve warm with cranberry sauce or gravy. Can be made ahead and frozen. Try variations like adding cheese, nuts, or swapping in plant-based alternatives for a twist.
