- 1 baguette, sliced into half inch rounds
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and lightly toasted
- Fresh thyme sprigs (optional)
- Drizzle of honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
- Place a slice of brie on each toasted baguette round and return to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the brie is just melted.
- Remove from the oven and top each crostini with a small spoonful of cranberry sauce and a sprinkle of toasted walnuts.
- Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs and drizzle with honey for added sweetness if desired.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm as finger food. Store components separately to maintain crispness.
