Ingredients

- 20 oz cheese tortellini (Fresh or refrigerated)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- parsley, chopped (optional)
- red pepper flakes (optional)
- cracked black pepper (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika on both sides.
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steak 2–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thin.
- In the same pan, add 4 tbsp butter and melt over medium heat. Add 5 cloves minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and 3/4 cup whole milk, stirring to bring to a low simmer.
- Add 1 1/4 cups parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste.
- Cook 20 oz tortellini according to package directions, then drain and add to the sauce, stirring to coat.
- Add sliced steak to the pan and warm for 1–2 minutes before serving hot.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Serve hot in shallow bowls with extra parmesan on top. A small green salad or steamed vegetables pairs well.
