Cracked Garlic Steak Tortellini in Creamhouse Sauce Bliss

A rich and flavorful dish featuring juicy steak, creamy garlic sauce, and cheese tortellini.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (Fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • parsley, chopped (optional)
  • red pepper flakes (optional)
  • cracked black pepper (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steak 2–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thin.
  3. In the same pan, add 4 tbsp butter and melt over medium heat. Add 5 cloves minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and 3/4 cup whole milk, stirring to bring to a low simmer.
  5. Add 1 1/4 cups parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste.
  6. Cook 20 oz tortellini according to package directions, then drain and add to the sauce, stirring to coat.
  7. Add sliced steak to the pan and warm for 1–2 minutes before serving hot.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Serve hot in shallow bowls with extra parmesan on top. A small green salad or steamed vegetables pairs well.
