Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 tsp Lemon, zest
- 1 Lemon, wedges
- 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh
- 1 tsp Thyme, fresh
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice, fresh
- 1 tsp Paprika, smoked
- 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 6 tbsp Butter, unsalted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the garlic, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat them with the prepared mixture.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a baking sheet.
- Melt the unsalted butter and pour it over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the chicken bites with lemon wedges.
Notes
Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for better browning. Do not overcrowd the pan when searing. Use fresh lemon and herbs for the best flavor.
