Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, then swirl in the cream cheese mixture. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.
