Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars

A simple, sweet bar that tastes like a cinnamon roll and is easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool, then mix together the powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze and drizzle over the bars.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs and butter for easier mixing. Allow bars to cool before glazing.
