Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces chicken breasts (about 600 g)
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 200 g cranberry sauce
- Grated zest from 1 orange
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C).
- Add the chopped garlic, rosemary, and thyme in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Add the cranberry sauce and grated orange zest to the skillet. Mix well and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken breasts on a plate, drizzled with cranberry sauce and garnished with fresh herbs.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcrowd the pan when searing the chicken. Fresh herbs are recommended, but dried herbs can be used in smaller amounts.
