Christmas Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, melted butter, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side down.
  4. Pour the honey butter glaze evenly over the salmon.
  5. Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Check for doneness as cooking times can vary. Add fresh herbs for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
