- Spaghetti noodles
- Ground beef, turkey, or chicken
- Marinara sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil
- Optional: chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5-10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, followed by half of the cheese.
- Repeat with remaining spaghetti and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Cook spaghetti al dente to avoid mushy texture after baking. Customize with your choice of vegetables or cheeses.
