- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated for best melt)

- 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- Salt for boiling water
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, to prevent sticking)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
- Extra grated Parmesan (optional garnish)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Mince the garlic, chop parsley, and grate the Parmesan. Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- Cook the Pasta: Add pasta to boiling water and cook according to package directions until al dente (usually 10–12 minutes). Drain, drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.
- Season and Sear the Chicken: Rub chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from pan, rest 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same pan, lower the heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and additional Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Combine and Serve: Toss cooked pasta into the Alfredo sauce, mixing until well coated. Add chicken on top or mix in, depending on preference. Garnish with parsley, more Parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
