- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, BBQ sauce, bourbon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use cooked, cooled bacon for better binding. Do not overmix the meat. Can be served as appetizers, sliders, or over rice.
