- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 6–8 flour tortillas
- 1 can of salsa con queso
- 1 cup of shredded Mexican cheese blend
- Diced tomatoes (optional)
- Sliced black olives (optional)
- Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium-high heat; drain excess grease.
- Mix in taco seasoning and salsa con queso with the beef.
- Start layering in a baking dish: beef mixture, tortillas, repeat until done, ending with cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
- Optionally, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crisper top.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
