Bang Bang Salmon

An easy and delicious salmon dish with a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Green onion, chopped
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, honey, mayonnaise, rice vinegar (or lime juice), Sriracha, garlic powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt to create the bang bang sauce.
  3. Coat the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the cooked salmon.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For a crispy texture, broil the salmon for the last few minutes of cooking. Adjust spiciness by adding more or less Sriracha.
